Cases of murder and manslaughter increased 14 per cent, of rape and sexual assault by 13 per cent and grievous bodily harm by 10 per cent.

The biggest problem is that there are hundreds of thousands of young single men without any family to keep them in check. They come from backgrounds where having sex before marriage is verboten and they are gagging for it. They can't speak German and have precious few marketable skills, it a recipe for disaster. Many just live off their wits on the streets, stealing and begging.
