Special Counsel Robert Mueller Issued Grand Jury Subpoenas

Special Counsel Robert Mueller issued grand jury subpoenas in recent days seeking testimony from public relations executives who worked on an international campaign organized by Paul Manafort.

This is the first public indication that Mueller’s investigation is beginning to compel witness testimony before the grand jury, a significant milestone in an inquiry that is examining the conduct of President Donald Trump and his son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, among others.

It is also further indication that Manafort, Trump’s onetime campaign chairman, could be in serious legal jeopardy.​

The thrust of the investigation is into criminal activities of a sitting president...
What part of that did you miss?
Podesta, by comparison, does not even hold public office...
The lead was in good perspective.

The lede explains why NBC's ratings suck lol.

If you want to get some clicks on your story, don't lede with more mind-numbing Trump/Russia. The Podesta angle is *new* and thus more newsworthy. New---news, get it? It's fresh, it's interesting and you would attract more readers by making it the lede.

Maybe the people at NBC have an agenda or maybe they're just insipid dimwits, it's hard to say for sure but I suspect it's the former.

Why would Mueller subpoena Podesta's outfit, btw? Are you the least bit curious?

You are so anxious to take the criminal spotlight off of your orange clown you will grasp at anything that hints at it. Podesta is a peripheral character with peripheral evidence to the Trump administration's traitorous crime spree and Mueller is being thorough.
