Gorka was one of Trump's most prominent cheerleaders, frequently hitting the airwaves to defend the President's policies and public statements.

Gorka submitted his resignation to retired Gen. John Kelly, the White House chief of staff, on Friday, a White House official said. The official said it had become clear to Gorka that he would not be allowed to have a meaningful role going forward.

I would rather have seemingly competent people like McMaster and Kelly having Trump's ear. There certainly should be no place for bigots, racists, rightwing nationalists any where within ten miles of the oval office.

But the problem with Drumpf is he isn't really going to change. He is impulsive, easily baited, obsessive, paranoid, bigoted, incompetent, and really quite sociopathic.

Senior White House foreign policy official Sebastian Gorka reportedly drew up a plan to partition Libya into three parts on a napkin and presented it to a European diplomat, The Guardian learned.

The diplomat called the plan "the worst solution" for Libya, according to the newspaper. Gorka is vying for a position as White House special envoy to Libya, a country that has been immersed in conflict since the death of its Prime Minister Muammar Gaddafi in 2011 upended its political order.

The Guardian reported that Gorka has "alarmed" diplomats with his views on Libya.
