That's funny, did you actually think anyone in New York, who as a State probably lost close to as many as any State fighting for the Union in the Civil War would protest the removal of statues of Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee? Bigger question is why in the hell were they here in the first place?

And I don't think anyone alive is ever going to challenge the name of any State because of someone it was named after, but keep at it, if you go back far enough maybe you can fabricate a case to condemn Mother Theresa because one of her long lost relatives did something questionable

i assume there are going to be a list of unnacceptable names that will be struck down. As early as now I want to register my intent to have something named after me. Hopefully we can end up with the state of Tsuke instead of New York.

The president of a student Republican club at San Diego State University (SDSU) penned this letter asking the school’s Muslim association to condemn the recent terror attack in Barcelona.

Brandon Jones, posted the letter to Facebook on Aug. 17 addressed to the SDSU Muslim Student Association (MSA), calling for its leaders to condemn last week’s terror attack.

A statement by the Transfronterizo Alliance Student Organization calls for “the immediate removal” of Jones, because they claim “he has shown an extremist nature.” It also calls for the leadership of the College Republicans to be “held under probation.”

The Young Democratic Socialists called Jones’ letter a “cruel and bigoted attack” against the MSA, and claimed the College Republicans group was “making Muslim students feel even more unsafe on their own campus” by suggesting MSA members “will be considered terrorist sympathizers unless they condemn an attack they had nothing to do with.”
