this thread is a perfect example of liberal culture privilege and how insidious the deep state media is. I am sure the liberals on this site actually believe the vast majority of americans are against such "hateful" statues. But no, they've fallen for the brainwashing and propaganda. Americans overwhelmingly support having the statues remain. The polls above I showed is of all americans, which is a sample size that skews liberal. I guarantee that number is in the 70's with likely voters.

When I stand looking at these statues, I am in awe of how far we have come, what we have learned since these days. I don't stand there applauding the evils of the time.
Let me spin this out a bit further. How many of us have control over the circumstances of our birth? I am guessing no one. Now imagine being born in a time and situation when slavery was commonplace and your family were rich land owners. Do you (general terms) think it is possible you would have accepted what was the norm in its time?
