Amid warning shots fired by US ships against Iranian ones, as well as very close calls when Iranian drones have buzzed the US military, President Trump will be called upon to certify that Iran is in compliance with the nuclear deal.
His administration has declared Iran in compliance, as required by law, twice during his tenure so far. But Trump has said he expects the US to declare Iran non-compliant when the next review is due in September.

The President has put together a team of aides to pull together the intelligence so he can do just that, according to a report in Foreign Policy.
David Cohen, former deputy director of the CIA, said it was "very disconcerting" that it appears Trump may have made a conclusion about Iran before finding the intelligence to back it up.

Not only is Trump going to the very heart of neo-conservatism with regard to his treatment of Iran (leaving only the option of war available sans nuclear agreement), he's also going FULL Bush administration with regard to its handling of intelligence (declaring a conclusion first, and going backwards with the regard to the intel).

In a war against a fully-compliant and cooperative Iran, and Trump's United States, I'm afraid I'd have to side with Iran.

The Vietnam draft-dodging fat ass seems to spend most of his waking hours dreaming about war and blowing shit up. NeoCon indeed.

With Trump, I get this vague feeling that we are permanently on the edge of a full blown war. And the popular vote-losing mother effer has only been in office seven months.
I never got that sense in eight years of Obama.

Obama was a functioning, intelligent, well-measured human being. Trump would need a ladder just to reach the a base level of mental competence.

I hate Mike Pence, but he needs to take over.

their ballistic missile development may or may not be in compliance..but wait..there's more.

Iran Is Not Complying with the Nuclear Deal

Senators Tom Cotton (R., Ark.), Ted Cruz (R., Texas), David Perdue (R., Ga.), and Marco Rubio (R., Fla.) made it clear in a July 11 letter to Secretary Tillerson that they do not want this to happen again and cited four ways Iran is not complying with the nuclear agreement:

One. Operating more advanced uranium-enrichment centrifuges than is permitted and announcing the capability to initiate mass production of centrifuges. (Although I agree with this concern, the U.S. should not have agreed to let Iran enrich any uranium while the JCPOA is in effect, never mind enrich it with advanced centrifuges. This is one of the JCPOA’s most serious flaws.)

Two. Exceeding limits on production and storage of heavy water, a substance needed to operate plutonium-producing heavy-water nuclear reactors. (Again, I agree, but the U.S. should not have agreed to a pact that allows Iran to produce heavy water or operate a heavy-water reactor.)

Three. Covertly procuring nuclear and missile technology outside of JCPOA-approved channels. There’s direct evidence of this, from German intelligence reports.

Four. Refusing to allow IAEA inspectors access to nuclear-research and military facilities.

Incredibly, a State Department official said at a recent Washington lunch I attended that the department is trying to determine whether Iran is in “material breach” of the JCPOA, not whether it is in full compliance

They are in full compliance with the nuclear deal. And Marco Rubio and Cotton are neocons.

Oh OK. your saying they are in "full compliance" is the final word -yet you won't look at the evidence otherwise.

Yes they are neo-cons. It doesn't change the facts of non-compliance.

The question is what to do abut it, and if Trump starts any military undermining of Iran because of it
then it become problematic

Yep; only in liberal loony land are the actions of a Fascist Islamic state the fault of Trump.

Irony; when HATE mongering leftists who HATE the military call Trump a draft dodgers. Wasn't it you leftist snowflakes who celebrated draft dodgers and defiance to the draft?

Correct on both counts.

State Department Certifies Iran's Compliance With Nuclear Deal
July 17, 2017

Under U.S. law, the State Department is required to recertify to Congress Iran's compliance with the nuclear deal every 90 days. Despite President Trump's harsh criticism of the agreement forged under his predecessor, it is the second such certification since he took office.

LMAO; yeah, here is an example of his vast intellectualism and intelligence:

:rofl2:

Anyone that claims Iran is fully compliant is either lying or ill informed.

Many, if not all, the sites are equipped with extensive underground tunnels and facilities - and can be moved at short notice should the need arise.

The report said: “This has enabled the regime to shield them from international inspections and move them around when needed.”

Neocons were about spreading democracy and not pulling out of bad treaties.

But your over the top hysteria is noted.
