Boston demonstrations planned for tomorrow 8/19

TV cameras showed a group of boisterous counterprotesters on the Common chasing a man with a Trump campaign banner and cap, shouting and swearing at him.

Counterprotesters dressed entirely in black and wore bandannas over their faces. They chanted anti-Nazi and anti-fascism slogans, and waved signs that said: "Make Nazis Afraid Again." Others carried a large banner that read: "SMASH WHITE SUPREMACY."

Police vans later escorted the conservatives out of the area, and angry counterprotesters scuffled with armed officers trying to maintain order.

Members of the Black Lives Matter movement later protested on the Common, where a Confederate flag was burned and protesters pounded on the sides of a police vehicle.

You need to get out into the real world more. 15,000 anti-protestors were expected. 40,000 showed up. Boston has relatively small streets. This entire event could have turned into a fire storm. It did not. You are bringing up 27 people out of 40,000.
.0006%. 99% of those counter protesters did were not " dressed entirely in black and wore bandannas over their faces." They were regular people, mothers, fathers, etc, concerned citizens. Normal probably not that political type people.

If the organizers were afraid, they should not have been holding a rally in Boston. It really is that simple. They were not stopped from speaking. They may have been surprised by the amount of peaceful counter protestors, but hey,f one thinks they have something important enough to say and go as far as getting a permit to do it, then do it. It looks to me like they took a look out on that crowd and realized what they had to say was not that important after all.

so thru fear and intimidation antifa and blm should be proud of causing these people 2 be silenced, an nobody those 2 groups don't like should ever try to assemble or speak in Boston

The Boston Globe reported that there was tension between Invictus and Boston Free Speech. The Orlando-based activist told the Globe that the group wasn’t happy about his calls for a “second American civil war.”

“We do not support him due to his willingness to support violence, as well as his Holocaust denial,” one member of the group who only told the Globe his name is “Louis,” said. “So he has been disinvited, and he has pulled out.”
