The Democrats are a corporate party, just like the Republicans. Period.

I vote for Dems more often than not because I disagree vehemently w/ the GOP on social issues, as well as a few other things. But Dems are awful.

Spoken like a true political hack.

The corporate takeover of our government is the biggest threat to democracy in our history, and flies under the radar for the most part. Completely strips rights from society's most vulnerable & the people as a whole.

You're just blind to it. Anyone who puts the kind of faith in party like you do needs to step back & learn what's really going on. The major parties are terrible - such a perversion of what the founders intended.

Your conclusion is economically myopic. All you ever said was that "the economy does better under Democrats." You have no understanding at all of the length of economic cycles, and the correlation between policy change and the timing of economic changes.

You don't allow that the opposing argument is legitimate. Some people [a majority if you believe the polls] believe the statues have at least some historical import. Just because someone holds that opinion doesn't make them a Nazi sympathizer.

The majority of the city council wanted the statue gone. And anyone who opposes that position is sympathizing with Nazis.
