I really don't know anything about them... other than that they attacked scumbag, violent, white supremacists and Nazis who wanted to preserve a memorial to a white supremacist reprobate and traitor to the USA.
That attack was commendable ...

I don't care about Bannon---or whoever, so long as Trump gets the economy going and some other things turned around.

But yeah, it seems counterintuitive, considering the media meltdown and Romney and co.'s pathetic virtue signaling, but Trump will win on this issue at the polls.

Because it's about the independents. In order to conclude that Trump was lauding the Nazis you have to believe the man would contradict his previous statement where he condemned them. And the myriad times he's condemned racism and racists in the previous year and a half.

Anti-Trump bias is a prerequisite for that belief.

All the man was trying to do was state the obvious: there are good people on either side of the issue [fact number 1] and some of those good people were at Charlottesville [fact number 2]. Such is the state of media bias against Trump, that even when he tries to be magnanimous they want to tar and feather him.

And people wonder why he calls the fake.

And because there are so many spineless, moral cowards in the media and amongst republicans it can give the appearance Trump is isolated. Which is precisely the objective.

It's not going to work with independents.

While you may abhor the so called Nazi protesters, are they not afforded the same 1st Amendment rights to assemble as everyone else?

They had a permit to assemble and march, did antifa or any other groups; so how do you figure they were the ones intent on violence, when it's been shown the other side are the ones who "started it"??

Comparing 2016 to 2008/2012 is a false equivalency, and I think you aren't too dumb to know it. People like you abandoned Bush Sr and Dole in the 90s to stay home or vote for Perot, and we got Bill Clinton. It turns out the Clintons were never all that well-liked, because, Bill never won a majority, Hillary couldn't even get nominated on her first attempt, and then we all witnessed what happened last year.

Anyway, I continue to do my part where it can do some good, and it sometimes pays off. Keep pretending that Douchebag Donald is going to keep serving your interests. He proves to himself every day that he can't lose your support until it's too late for you (and me).
