Yes - Lincoln was an extreme white supremacist

Shut up, Tom. Lincoln lived in 1800's America. You have to consider the time period. He's not going to sound like an enlightened post civil-rights individual.

But he was still WAY ahead of his time on the topic. And he freed the slaves.
I am not going to shut up, if you don't like what I say then just ignore me. I see Lincoln as very much a man of his time, it is the attempt by so many today to ascribe virtues to him that he didn't possess that I object to vehemently.

Yes he emancipated black men, and women, but mainly because he needed more cannon fodder as many white northerners refused to fight. However after the war many blacks in the south just became sharecroppers rather than slaves but were still owned body and soul.

He doesn't get all of the credit, but he did more than any single human at that time to free more slaves and pave the way for eventual full emancipation.

wrong. his entire MO about slavery was directed towards the southern slaves to get them to help rebel and fight for the union. He didn't do a damned thing about the slaves remaining in the union states. It wasn't until AFTER the civil war that a new congress and directed southern states crafted the 13th and 14th Amendments.

Lincoln did NOT free the slaves. In fact, he didn't give a damn about slavery in general.

That's pretty much true. The emancipation proclamation stated that it only freed slave in confederate areas - areas lincoln had no control over. He could have freed the slaves in the 4 union states that still practiced slavery but he chose not to!!! The EP was a PR stunt to keep france and england from entering the war on the side of the South.

we should clarify he freed southern slaves as a war strategy : )

remember before the war he specifically said he would not do anything about slavery.

HAHAHA. Did you really say that? No one claimed those 2 quotes made up lincoln's life. But they do prove he was a white supremacist. You are really stupid.
He brought blacks into the white house and told these things to their faces. He believed in the inherant inferiority of blacks. Spent 500k taxpayer dollars studying ways to have every last one removed from these shores.
Thats how serious he was about it.
Northerner s just didnt want the taking their jobs.

I have already made that point in another thread. He needed cannon fodder as not enough whites wanted to fight the south.

HAHAHA. You ignorant jackass. Lincoln didn't free the slaves. The emancipation proclamation was just a PR stunt. The slaves were freed by the 13th amendment after lincoln was dead.

Here's a couple of his most famous quotes:

'Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man.

I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is physical difference between the two which, in my judgment, will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position.'

Why do our schools and press censor such quotes?

Why do you shoot heroin?????????????????????
