Trump is dangerously naive on military

Is it any wonder that when we read a post from Thingy all we can do is just shake out heads in wonder.....in total awe.....

Is this what you call an intelligent retort?

I'm so tired of your hypocritical, partisan bullshit. You're the biggest hack on this board. PERIOD.

My "overactive imagination" didn't dream up that Trump tweeted that Mosul - which has gone great - was a "disaster" of an operation. My "overactive imagination" didn't dream up that Trump has constantly talked about military strategy in terms of "surprise attacks," which shows a woeful knowledge of exactly what I described in the OP - that sometimes, it is strategically important to announce that you're going to attack.

And those things, coincidentally, are exactly what YOU avoided addressing, when you immediately responded "Bill Clinton!"

Get it?

Liberating Mosul is just great...its such a good plan that we keep doing it over and over and over....
and if you think surprise attacks on an enemy isn't a good tactic, your even more stupid than evince....you must think Obama and HIllary's ideas of
telling the enemy 6 or 8 weeks ahead of time our plans is just peachy.....or not attacking a fleet of oil trucks for fear we might injure the drivers....
or drawing 'red lines' and looking like a fool, baking off with your tail between your legs when your bluff is called....
You must be the same type of military genius that Obama and Hillary are.

Do I really have to explain this like I would to a 12 year old....

It was an attempt to get YOU to look at the actions of Clinton and Obama in their military endeavors over their combined 16 years in office....in other words, History...

neither of them having any military experience yet taking military actions without so much as an nod from the Congress of the US.....what you unrealistically fear is the unknown and

what your overactive imagination dreams up for you,
While keeping in mind that Trump never held office and obviously never fucked up a military action or fucked up on foreign policy.....

Why don't you tell us about Dubya going AWOL and not serving then causing the largest clusterfuck in history as a result of his incompetence you bumbling old fool.
In other words, shut the fuck up.

I would surely agree with you if it was the truth, but as usual, you lie.....student or medical deferments isn't dodging the draft

the gov. gives them our when they recognize the necessity.......just ask your VP...

Biden , received five student draft deferments during the Vietnam War, and I would never refer to him as a draft dodger, would you ?

Try again.

The cartoons are cute...I see its the lefts way of perpetuating the lies....
Clinton didn't do anything Biden didn't you you flailing dishonest retard.

Where did I say that surprise attacks aren't a good tactic?

Well, the idiot doubled down on his completely naive & wrong rhetoric re: Mosul.

Over the weekend, he called U.S. officials a "group of losers" for not launching a "surprise" attack.

What a complete buffoon. I'd love to see him sit down in an open forum on national TV w/ the military strategists, and debate how a "surprise attack" would have better served our goals there.

Surprise??? Lol

Like they don't know something is coming...lmao :palm:

He prob thinks they are as ignorant as he is....

Neither Clinton/Obama or Trump have any business commenting.

Nobody is saying WHY we are liberating ( and it's not us) Mosul are they?
How did ISIS convoys cross open deserts without being touched by US air?

Well the Germans knew that Operation Overlord was going to happen! However they didn't know when and from where, that was a surprise!

Why is the sky blue?
That's because of Rayleigh scattering. The strong wavelength dependence of the scattering (~λ−4) means that shorter (blue) wavelengths are scattered more strongly than longer (red) wavelengths. This results in the indirect blue light coming from all regions of the sky.

Are you really trying to compare that to entering a city of 1 million ppl~mostly unable to leave??

First, let's start w/ how stupid it was for him to post that the attack on Mosul was "turning out to be a total disaster." Providing comfort to ISIS, and completely, 100% wrong. Mosul has gotten off to a great start, and ISIS is losing.

Beyond that, his whole take that everything should be "unpredictable" and that all operations like this one should be "surprise attacks" is silly nonsense that seems to take its cues from old-time war movies. They forecast this attack ON PURPOSE. They wanted to get as many civilians as possible out, and also push for as many defections from ISIS as possible. And it's working.

This guy is such an idiot, on so many levels. It's impossible to imagine that someone so dangerously naive & ignorant could be elected next week.

Worth a bump - Trump is back in his "surprise attacks are the way to go!" mode.

He knows so little about military strategy. He plays international affairs like a noob in "Call of Duty."

Actually if you want to end wars quickly, you take out as many civilians as possible. You make the population suffer a price for their leaderships positions. See Germany and Japan. That is how you end a war. Your way causes them to drag on ad infinitum - see Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan.

Kill them all and end it quick.

Now I don't say this lightly. I think we should only enter into matters of war very carefully. I believe that Congress should assert its responsibility under the US Constitution and formally declare a war before we put troops in harms way. Unfortunately, Congress has lost its balls.

You can't blame Presidents when Congress refuses to do its job. Well maybe you can, but you are stupid
