When a politician continues fighting for his policies despite that they are unpopular shows principle IMO. Most authentic libertarians are , knowing they won't win elections.
I use hrc as the prime example of someone completely void of principle. She doesn't take a stand on any issue without first evaluating a poll taken on it and actually changes her positions based on what polls indicate.
So a 33% approval rating is an indication to me he's principled .
That's not to say he's disciplined or has class

I'm always a little amused when I see that. Wasn't hrc supposed to easily take PA, FL, NC, Ohio, possibly GA, AZ , and TX and win in a landslide?
The results of three states out of 50 don't determine an outcome just like the results of six counties (L.A. and the 5 NYC) out of 3,144 don't.

It think the message is true now that he is older, no doubt. I just think mad magazine satire should not be a cover of a news magazine. That type of thing is why I have such distaste for him. He tweets smack talk from the Oval Office. Yuck. I don't like news doing that either.

There are several liberal columnists that agree with me, e.g. Maureen Dowd. A lot of dims hate her too. They couldn't bring themselves to show up and vote despite Trump being the alternative.
