Under the Anti-Commandeering Clause of the 10th Ammendment the Feds cannot compel the cities to do the work of the Federal Government.

local law enforcement helps out the federal government all the time to combat crime, investigate crime, and otherwise uphold the laws of the land.
The ATF swoops in on federal jurisdiction matters and the local law enforcement agencies have to be literally told to stand down thousands of times a year on federal cases ranging from
gun running and drug trafficking across state lines, bank robberies, capital murder cases and everything in between.

This sanctuary "it's not my job" bull $hit is just that, bull $hit.
You know it, I know it, and they know it. So exercise a little self dignity in arguing something as stupid as what you're arguing, knock it off.

Sanctuary cities are going to get a dose of reality here real soon, the new sheriff is not playing games, it's time we MAke America Safe Again, collectively.
