Any sane, reasonable intelligent person can plainly see that a) there is very little actual need for guns in modern society. The only legitimate use they have is defending yourself from criminals who use them to commit crimes with, a situation that would not exist if not for the presence of so many guns to begin with, while b) automobiles, as dangerous as they can be, actually have a much more relevant and legitimate purpose in modern society.

But I don't expect any of you gun goober, 2nd amendment crybabies to acknowledge reality.

The gub'mint told you that you could have them and now the very idea of having something taken away that you were told you could have makes you shit your diapers and cry just like spoiled little children when threatened with having their little toys taken away.

There were criminals in 1791, but, that is not why the 2nd Amendment was written. Nor was it written for recreation, hunting, etc.

Clearly you don't give a fuck about rights. Side note, they don't come from government, whose job it is to secure them, not grant them.

I expect Douchebag Donald's plan is to sell our rights out to the American left, rather then to Putin. Then you can go about taking away all of my childish rights.

Actually car deaths far exceed non-suicide gun deaths, and yes, the libs are ok with that. They howl about assault weapons but don't object when the auto industry builds cars that do double the speed limit and come with super-distracting features like internet access!!

Nowadays their only necessity is created by their own prevalence.

If it weren't for all the guns, nobody would need a gun to protect themselves from all the assholes with guns.
