Interesting how the conservatives are relatively quiet on the President's

assault on Attorney General Sessions. With everyone in the Cabinet, he has to be the truest Trumpkin, bought in early, put himself out there as the first major endorsement, and has pursued enforcement policies favored on the right for decades.

You can't argue he is a pure conservative from a ruby red State, so why the sudden silence on the right when the President not only attacks but actually belittles him?

there is a little rumbling

the russians have something on a bunch of these republicans

they dont fear trumpy

they fear what Putin has on them and they know he wants them backing trumpy

That's to be expected, he was a personal friend to some of them, and a lot of that is token, but I'm talking about conservatives here, on this and similar forums, nearly complete silence

Then you obviously missed Jarod's multiple threads on the issue and the other multiple threads on the issue.

Thread fail. :palm:

Sessions is far more important to him than any of his supporters. Something to remember when you pledge your loyalty to him.

If sessions leaves on his own after the break starts its orchastrated.

If trumpy has to fire him after the break starts it may be a real break between the two

attacking Sessions is a bad idea. lots of reasons why. I get Trump's frustration at having SPrun wild, but it's not sessions fault.

Trump is justified. Sessions wants to look like he's above the fray, but this job, at this time, requires using the same weapons as your enemy, which is the 'rat Party.

And I always thought the job of the Attorney General was to uphold the law not attack "your enemy"

Not thinking about it. Trump's his boss, he knew DJT doesn't mind telling how he feels. So who cares ? Sessions is no snowflake, they'll sort it out and keep on rolling.

"Not thinking about it," so the President, who talks about loyalty endlessly, befitting in public probably his biggest supporter doesn't register anything in your thinking?

"Attack" is your word. I would say his job is to prosecute the law as it applies to everyone equally, including the enemy party. For example, why isn't Sessions investigating Hillary's obvious collusion with the Russians?

trump beat 16 other seasoned candidates in his primary including jeb bush who had a 100 million dollar war chest with insider support, faded an entire insurrection from his party with the nevertrump movement and then beat hillary clinton who had been planning their presidential run for the past 2 decades, and then he won 3 states republicans almost never win. Trump wins. He's a closer, and he plays 4d chess while you liberals will always continue to underestimate him.
