I'd never even heard of the guy before today, though I'd heard of the band.
I always assumed they were black rappers.
I don't even know if I've ever heard one of their songs before, as due to the intentional, phonetic misspelling of "Lincoln", a practice which has become such a trademark "thing" within the modern millennial generation of rappers and text messaging, I just automatically associated them with today's typically shitty, generic, uninspired and unoriginal crap music, and as such, had no interest in hearing them.
But still, it's always sad to hear about someone so young ending their own life.
As was expressed by the then, 14 year old son of M*A*S*H director Robert Altman, who wrote the words to what would become the theme song to the TV show based on the movie....
RIP to him.
