Trump just threw down the gauntlet to Republicans. He told the Republicans to repeal and replace, and don't leave town until they get it done.

I'll bet any amount of money that Republicans will laugh at his ultimatum, because the only thing more unpopular than Trump is his shitty healthcare bill.

In the end, the gauntlet will be thrown back at Trump and he will take another twitter-tantrum.

He is doing nothing more than expose their dishonesty. He isn't asking them to anything they haven't promised to do.

I'm questioning the timing, why would trump wait until after the bill with dead, to make a speech trying to sell it? Somebody please try to explain this to me.

Because he leads from behind, isn't a leader, is a braggart and showboat, sucks at leading, puts minimal effort into anything other than twitter, etc., etc. Pick our poison. The guy is a 71 year old infant who has ZERO respect from Putin, much less from respectable leaders.

They aren't afraid of trump anymore.

Neither are Congressional Republicans.

Congressional Republicans don't need to be afraid of Trump. They need to be afraid of the base. You know the people responsible for putting Trump in office? Anyone thinking the GOP base will blame Trump for failure to repeal Obamacare is not paying attention. But that is typical for liberals.
