the hilarious thing about obamacare is most of the taxes that are supposed to go along with it like taxes on perscription drugs and health savings accounts havent even taken effect yet lol.
 
I've sidestepped ObamaCare altogether. I joined a group where I can buy a $10k deductible policy for less than $200/ month. The group has negotiated with provides in my area with pay-as-you-go discounts for routine services. I've agreed not to do illegal drugs, drive drunk, or smoke, so if I, say, get mangled in an accident where I was DUI, I'm not covered. If everyone did the same this whole mess would disappear.

i did see those groups as well. Though they go out of their way not to call themselves insurance to avoid regulation.

How is it working out?

Fantastic. It's called a voluntary share organization. We are exempt from federal insurance regulation. So Obama can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.

I've chosen the highest deductible, since I can afford it. There are much lower deductibles for those who can't, but of course the premiums, er, monthly share, are correspondingly higher.
 
There is a very simple way to crush Obamacare.

1) pass a law allowing any insurance company to sell any kind of policy to any person in any state
2) repeal individual mandate

Done and done. Wouldn't even have to repeal the fucking thing and there wouldn't be shit the left could say.
