The President has declared this "made in America" week,

Dance around the issue all you want, but the glaring irony of trump standing in front of a 'Hire American/Buy American' banner is only lost on people like yourself.

We certainly do not agree on much, however on this we have common ground. Trump and family would make "Hire American/Buy American" much more meaningful if they practiced it. That whole talk the talk, walk the walk thing.

Appalachian education. Gotta love the mindset.

Since you like to use "cute". "liberal cool" racist slurs, do you hate poor Black ghetto folk as much as you hate poor white ghetto folk?

Racist liberal pig :palm:

Fox even has rallied the troops this morning on the President's theme, so does that mean all the umpteen Trump family products made in China, Bangladesh, India, and Vietnam are now going to be made in America?

Fox forgot to mention it
were you made in America, trollop?......

And just last week, The Washington Post reported on the fashion line of first daughter and White House aide Ivanka Trump, finding that much of it is*made by low-wage workers in countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia and China.

.

easy-peasy.....don't buy her shoes........buy New Balance shoes instead......

Yea...we agree on more than you think. Sometimes, you're just silly for the sake of being silly.

During a debate, trump told Hillary to "make it illegal' for him to use Chinese steel in his hotels. I don't see him making any moves to keep Chinese steel out of the country. I also don't see him asking the IRS to do away with the carried interest deduction, which is what he promised would be the first thing he did as POTUS. That was very early in the campaign, so I'm sure we'll never hear about it again.

Did you give your sister a present this Mother's Day? I'm sure you're her favorite son.

"Buy American" is one of the most hated phrases by Leftwingers.

Who cares if Trump has goods produced overseas. That is a reflection of America's inability to compete in a global market. He's actually trying to make America more competitive, so he doesn't have to have stuff made overseas :palm:

The Left is waaaay too stupid to understand any of this. To them, private businesses are pure evil.

Why shape shift into a pretzel for the hypocrite in chief? Waste of throughput. It's like David Duke promoting the southern poverty law center. It's like McDonalds supporting a vegan or low fat diet. Trump is the wrong messenger.

The only thing Trump sells that's made in America is his own bullshit.

"sweatshop is defined by the Department of Labor as a factory which violates 2 or more labor laws. It has 3 characteristics – low pay, long brutal hours and unhealthy working conditions"

....The world matters

How Christian of you

Trump's 'Made In America' Week Is Already Backfiring Spectacularly
The president and his family have relied heavily on foreign manufacturing.

President Donald Trump is set to declare this week “Made In America” week*to help promote products manufactured in the United States, according to The Hill.*

But he’s already coming under fire for the move, given that Trump-branded products are often manufactured overseas.

Many of Trump’s clothing items have been made in Mexico and China. During the campaign last year, his use of*steel and aluminum from China*became a campaign issue.

And just last week, The Washington Post reported on the fashion line of first daughter and White House aide Ivanka Trump, finding that much of it is*made by low-wage workers in countries such as Bangladesh, Indonesia and China.

White House spokeswoman Helen Aguirre Ferre was asked on Sunday if the president would use “Made in America” week to push his daughter to make those products in the United States.*

“We’ll get back to you on that,” she said, according to Politico.

Critics on social media aren’t waiting for the response. They blasted Trump and his family for not practicing what they preach.

He knows .. he's just playing his supporters for the spectacular chumps they are again.
I just can't believe they launched "made in America"
first, especially knowing the story on Ivanka's line had been released. It almost seems at times like the WH is trying to sabotage itself. I just don't understand their logic.

He knows the base isn't intelligent enough to see the irony. Just read this board.

^ Fat chance. They will always find an excuse for themselves that they won't apply to others.

you guys don't get it do you........you don't have to worry about where Trump chooses to make things.......you just have to worry about where the things you buy are made.........nobody says you have to buy from Trump.......

Who says he has to? I mean, besides the pervert degenerates?

Clearly, he's speaking to those who want to keep their products homegrown.

Besides, who's to say that he won't pull up his stakes overseas once he's finished with this initiative?

What do you think the odds are of this happening? Also, how much do you personally value the concept of Buy American?
