Yes it was sent up on a very steep parabolic trajectory to a height of about 1700 miles before landing near Japan.

I have been wondering the same thing..... The crash out @ sea, why not send a message & shoot it down before if he wants to cowboy a message??

If a government doesn't look after its people, get rid of it. You characters believe it exists to look after your ill-gotten gains, but you can hardly expect the vast majority to agree with such nonsense without HUGE brainwashing, can you?
