LOL!!!

(laughing)

This is really a difficult concept for you to grasp, isn't it?

The fact that 350 million years ago, because there were NO PEOPLE, it wasn't important that bugs and plants prospered.

Fucking slowboy

More importantly, the sun was significantly cooler back then, to the effect that a cooler sun and higher CO₂-levels combined amounted to temperate climates comparable to today's. Moreover, fauna and flora had adapted to these climates following slow changes, whereas the very fast change humankind is inflicting currently will collapse an untold number of the eco-systems upon which we rely for our survival.

In other words, "CO₂-levels were way higher in the past and there was still life on earth!!!!!" is yet another silly internet meme resonating in Rightardia (also known as the continent Upisdownistan), and it still finds useful idiots to promulgate it.

Yes, there are good things that result from GW. Greening of deserts is another that comes to mind. Fewer deaths caused from cold related causes which outnumber deaths from heat related causes. More land available for farming. There are many more.

Are boiled frog legs as good as fried?

Coldest day? In just Greenland? Funny boy.

2016 was the hottest year on record globally.

Yes entirely due to the largest El Nino since 1998. The temperatures has now fallen back to pre-El Nino levels but you won't read that in the Guardian. Temperatures have been plummeting in Greenland since 2003, you'll never read that in the Guardian either. All you ever get in that piss poor rag ate pictures of polar bears 'stranded' on ice floes!
