The standard deduction for a married couple filing jointly will jump from $12,700 to approximately $24,000.

We have a federal deficit and national debt that we do because our politicians spend far more than they budget for and make future promises without funds to pay for them. We can't tax our way out the debt we have.

But hey, thanks baby boomers for being one of the most greedy generations ever. Way to go Ken
