Another pound of angus in the "nothing burger"

calling me a liar, lousy analyst etc, is so childish on your part..it seems to be de reguire from your group.
I don't take your points seriously because of it..It's immature behavior, in that you can't attack my ideas without attacking me.
++
When you objected to Swiftboating as opposition research, I gave you the ex of Thomas Eagleton, and I showed you this concept of yours that opposition research is to exclude "corrupt or unqualified" (etc.) is junk noise

Your sentence had 2 parts to it.

I've told you I agree with this first part in that it appears to be a campaign violation ( election law).
and we have laws against foreign electioneering so we determine our leaders, not foreign powers

I've demonstrated the 2nd part is utterly specious -pulled out of your ass, but you can't let it go.

^ that's absurd. Opposition research has no noble goals/acts. It's solely about power acquisition.

The little baby objects to personal attacks but is the first to use them when backed into a corner.

Wah wah wah.

Yer fucked, Trump is fucked
Go fuck yourself, fucker

Bullshit.

Just agreeing to accept "dirt" on Clinton, which Don Jr knew in advance that the Russian govt was involved in obtaining and providing, equates to cooperation with them. The Trump campaign obviously planned to use whatever the "dirt" was to influence the election outcome, which makes both parties complicit co-conspirators in the scheme.

It also proves that Russia was actively attempting to swing the election to Trump.

The question then becomes one of why Putin wanted Trump to win so badly.

The answer is that the Trump campaign rejected whatever is was these top secret Russian agents offered.

I see a new round of GOP talking points making the rounds today.

Man, is it going to be a tiring last 3+ years for those guys.

Speaking of tiredness lol, how tired and threadbare do you think the Russia thing sounds to voters outside the liberal bubble? How cynical do you think democrats look in their eyes?

Because that's going to matter in 3 1/2 years, if not sooner.

the example of what you don't want to be like around here.
childish, petulant , and devoid of any useful thoughts.

Ah, yes - the old "backlash" thing that you keep warning us about.

You don't speak for those folks, Darthy. Hate to break it to ya. I think they probably hate to see an admin that is immersed in lies and corruption, personally.

Yeah, stop being so lousy, and I stop calling you out for it. Deal?

You know, you can't seem to address my argument. There is a reason why U.S. persons may donate to campaigns, whereas foreigners may not. There is a reason why campaigns may accept donations from U.S. citizens, but not from foreigners. And yes, had my phrase just one part, your criticism would be correct. My pointing to the presumption as the underlying explanation for the campaign law and the distinction between U.S. persons and foreigners cannot be countered with pointing out that campaigning it is actually about power, setting aside that this still falls short, as it misses the distinctions between research, donations, and campaigning. These are related, but vastly different matters. Lil' Donny's meeting is about accepting a donation from a foreign government via an intermediary. Read it as often as necessary for it to sink in.

Other than that, you could at least try to stop being so lousy a debater.

it's the cloud of noise strategy. voters hear "Russia interference enough,it gins up Russiaphobia
and allows the Congress to (solely) focus on that as their 'agenda' ( the various hearings)

we are amazingly dumb. always distracted by shiny objects and white noise.

The Dem's do this as a matter of politics -i.e. "the resistance" Tim Kaine was calling for treason, and he's far from alone

chop up the run on sentence. I can't make heads or tails of it. way to many references without direct attributions.
simplify your points and re-submit.

Junior accepted nothing. There goes that argument.

But that's kind of my point.

The Resistance [i.e., generating noise over Russia] seems a better short term strategy than a long one. In fact, I don't even know if it's been attempted long term. At some point, you have to think people are just going to tune democrats out. Long before, four years are up.

I venture to say many people are there already.

Well, I'm sure you guys will rule for an eternity, then. You should be pleased.

Quite honestly, this is mind-boggling coming from a Trump supporter.

The "shiny objects" thing is what he does. It's his main m.o. for leadership.

Junior accepted nothing. There goes that argument.

It's full of holes.

The Russian woman denies acting for the Kremlin [who can prove she's lying?] the emails to Junior originated from a former tabloid writer[!].

Nothing was came of the meeting and there was no follow up.

one would think it so.
However one has to believe the US populace is cognizant of more then the shiny objects / white noise.

I think he knows trump is an unintellectual hothead who could be used easily. Hillary, for all her flaws, is miles above trump in that regard.

And "up my game"? Do you want me to start bumping the dozens (maybe hundreds) of threads that you started saying that there was absolutely NOTHING to this Russia story?
