Impossible, not only would such a move lead to a catastrophic war, but the radiation travel would eventually reach the US, 1950's thinking, and even responsible men at that time knew it was idiotic

What rubbish, the NK warheads are not even as powerful as the plutonium weapon used in Nagasaki. Did the fallout from that travel to the US?

When the nuclear plant in Russia melted down a few years ago they gave iodine shots to newborns in the US's NorthWest, and the weapons avaliable today are hundreds time more powerful than those employed in WWII

No such thing as a safe nuclear weapon

You obviously did not click the link. It shows, anywhere in the world, nuclear blast range, fallout etc, for just about every nuclear bomb out there. Pretty good. The good news for most in the U.S, is....any radioactive fallout would generally just fall on the west coast.
