THere has been backlash over CNN blackmailing the creator of the wrestling GIF into apologizing. They have said they would reveal his identity if he retracted his apology.

CNN is doing just fine, contrary to what the President claims, their ratings are climbing, President Trump getting elected has been a gift to them

Despite almost daily criticism from President Trump, a new poll says Americans trust CNN more than the president.

CNN is considerably more trusted than President Donald Trump among Americans despite Trump's regular barrages of invective against the cable network, according to a new poll by Survey Monkey.

Fifty percent of Americans trust CNN more than Trump, and 43 percent have more trust in Trump. reported Axios.

The partisan breakdown is stark: 89 percent of Republicans trust Trump more than CNN and 91 percent of Democrats have more trust in CNN. Among independents, the breakdown is 55 for CNN and 40 for Trump,

I've had a trust-distrust relationship with the press since reading manufacturing consent years ago. It also didn't help that my father did projects with VOA.
I trust the media when it is fulfilling its duty, focussed on keeping a wary eye on and exposing power in all forms, especially government.
I trust Fox news exactly never, as that's absolute trash, an appendage of the GOPigs. Sadly that propaganda model has become profitable and MSNBC and CNN have
to an extent adopted "newstainment" If we are going to get an expose like on the bay of pigs or watergate or the pentagon papers, the last place you will EVER get it is Fix joke channel.
The good news is I have no cable TV and Sling does not carry Fix Joke station so I can't even be tempted to engage with that green bile inducing vomitorium.

That hyperarticulate if redundancy wielding woman on MSNBC with the short hair and comfortable shoes, whose name obviously is escaping me, has great ratings now, I've been told.
That fact must shrivel Fox peckerwood execs stock.
