The Trumpy tried to drop sanctions imposed on Russia due to international criminality at a time when this criminality was and is still ongoing, for no publicly communicable policy aim.

It would be extremely disappointing if you actually thought these two instances were anywhere near equal.

when did Trump try to drop sanctions? He DID communicate a "policy aim"
that getting along w/Putin is much better then an escalated cold war 2.0 ( cold war is my words)

I have no idea what this "reverse in policy" was. Obama was completely hands off in dealing with Putin

It does seem counterintuitive to be concerned about Russian security needs. But here's the thing---never, ever, enter into negotiations with another foreign power without first understanding their economic or security needs and/or objectives.

No doubt, your president understands this.

its easy to deny unnamed sources as i am required to give my full trust to a random reporter. Its pretty hard to deny an actual video with the President speaking to a Russian diplomat about things he would do for vladimir after the election.
