The stage is set for a fairly easy win for Trump

Republicans can't get a deal on healthcare. Democrats want a deal on healthcare. Trump needs a big win. All parties involved are hurt politically.

If Trump was half the deal-maker he claimed he was, he could score the biggest presidential victory of the past 70 years. Call the fix Trumpcare. The potential deal here couldn't be more apparent.

Seems like an easy win to me.

you are not very good at this huh

IT would be epic if Rump would tell the Republicans to fuck off and go with a Democratic version to fix Obamacare. Maybe even move to single payer.

Can't happen. The democrat party base won't allow it.

It is time for the GOP to realize their fortunes are linked to Trump and not the other way around

that's cute, EXCEPT the Democrats don't have any ideas,
Trumps plan will pass,
patience grasshopper, it took Obama 18 months to pass his, goofs

This is it! The DEALS - where are all of those DEALS?

This was gonna be so easy. No one could lead like Trump; no one could negotiate like Trump; no one could make those big DEALS like Trump.

What a complete failure this guy is.

He said, "I'm the only one who can fix our problems."

Are Paul, Cruz, Lee, and Johnson going to change their minds?

eventually, after the horse trading subsides.

The republicans ":on the fence" are posturing. Anyway paying attention to Washington politics would know that.
Obama had to actually bribe senators to vote for Obamacare, then had to lie to the Supreme court to keep it alive. This is all business as usual, People like thingy are just whining, being uninformed forces you to whine instead, as if someone listens to whining.

That's because you don't sit in the Oval Office.

Obama got the initial monstrosity passed only by hook and parliamentary crook and took almost two years in getting it done. Even then it was deemed barely constitutional by SCOTUS.

If it were Madame Hillary she would be having the same problem, because there's so many competing interests in healthcare [its more complex than politicians realized] that getting a political consensus is nearly impossible. Well it's not impossible, but it's pretty difficult.

I predict Trump will start reaching out to democrats in a way that will upset some people if congressional republicans don't get it together on this bill, soon.

and this may be a good idea.

I happen to think healthcare is much too important an issue for the two parties to hold hostage.
If the Democrats thought they had a seat at the table, maybe both parties could save face on this one and do whats right for us.

It would only take 4 or 5 democrats to come on board, but what would be nice is to have a dozen or so of them, and pass something to lower costs, insure as many as possible, and improve health care delivery.
