The OP is a case in point: the media would bury the fact Obama was tepid about Russian meddling, but Trump kept it front and center with his use of Twitter. And he does that sort of thing quite a bit.

And the Comey bluff about 'the tapes' was brilliant. You have to consider the possibility that Comey wouldn't have testified that Trump wasn't a subject of investigation. In which case, the media would still be running with that lie.

So I totally get why Trump uses Twitter---he practically has to. But I wish he would be more judicious with it and stay away from stupid faux controversies like with the London mayor and the like.

solid points. absolutely true re:Comey -we'd still be hearing "Trumpis under investigation". And he does need to communicate outside of the fake news venues.

It's to the point I'm not even looking at NYTimes or WaPo anymore. Sad!

Neither the DNC nor Obama were very concerned when it happened.....the DNC wouldn't let the FBI investigate their server and Obama
did NOTHING for months....Hillary exposing secret and top secret information to anyone that hacked her server....no FBI check on that either....destroying 30,000 emails under subpoena and she still has a top secret clearance....that is what passes for justice under the Democrats

---its ancient history now....its over....the toothpaste won't go back in the tube....and the elections were NOT affected at all...its a witch hunt to get Trump for anything they can dig up or make up.

Lynch and Learner taking the 5th rather than testify is much more serious....obvious obstruction the Justice Dept...meeting on tarmac with Billy bob Clinton....

Curious, to say the least. trump himself admitted there was Russian interference when he ranted that Obama didn't do anything about it.

Remember when trump said he wouldn't accept the election results if he lost? Also curious.

So have a parallel investigation if it's that serious. We are speaking of two separate issues, Russian meddling, and the DNC.

Remember when trump said he wouldn't pursue a criminal investigation into Hillary because it was something he just didn't feel that strongly about? Good times.

The hacking of the DNC servers is at the heart of the whole "Russia hacked our elections and colluded with Trump" story.
