Well, I'm on record stating that they shouldn't have spent the money they did on this race. But this is a pretty deep-red district. They're just anxious to start winning again.
There are other seats in more "purple" areas that they'll be able to pick off much more easily. I think the House is easily in play in '18. The Senate is going to be tough because of the logistics.
They've certainly been acting like adults and stating their platform in a unified and coherent manner. I'm sure they've garnered a huge following.
