when Obama was President you saw nothing but unending attacks from the right and those who supported Obama did offer a defense or something in support of his position, but nothing even close to that from conservatives on Trump.

The conservatives "defense" of Trump usually involves regurgitating Hillary, which is relevant since she lost, or generalizing some unrelated left leaning idea and then attacking it, they offer nothing in defense of their President or his actions

It all makes you wonder when they will actually see the reality that Trump is in way over his head
 
Correct, so they simply claim all criticism is a pathological obsession rather than mount a defense. Ham handed, obvious, uncreative and so Republican.
 
Trump is an indefensible choice, pre-election and on his accomplishments. If they were honest they would simply say "I know, I know, we are racists, Obama was a great President, we could not stand for that and so in a fit of rage we elected a total idiot, now we are sober and regret that."

But they can't. Idiots are also possessed of huge and fragile egos. So they lash out like petulant children who dropped a binky. Cant admit they are wrong, wah wah wah.

You are talking about a political party that thinks George Dumbya Bush and Sarah Palin were people who had the capability to be excellent presidential material. I never saw an impassioned defense of Willard Mittens Romney or John McCain by rightys, other than they "weren't Obama". I mean that is literally what passes for political philosophy in movement conservatives these days. To be against somebody, rather than for anything.

The fact they think a fat, septuagenarian, mentally incurious real estate landlord was a great choice for president speaks less to their judgment in picking good leaders, and more to their latent racial resentment and nihilism. It is not a party that actually believes in anything other than defeating democrats, "sticking it" to liberals, and slapping down uppity brown people.

That is exactly why you will episodically see Trumtards tacitly admit that their fat, old Orange Clown is a joke, but Hillary "would have been even worse!"

Thinking that grandstanding policies like the ones that allow American Jobs to be crushed by regulations so you can say your are saving the planet, or letting grown men dressed as women use the bathrooms with our daughters so you can say you are the compassionate party, or pull out of Iraq and allow ISIS to take over an entire region already rife with turmoil so you can say you ended an unjust war, to bankrupt our government with a stupid health plan you called a tax to ram it through the Supreme court when voters told you they didnt want it, just so you could claim you were the only ones wanting "health care for everyone", and most importantly, to address the OP question, That Trump is here to reverse the downward spiral of moral darkness, to build up Americas moral strength back to where we once stood in the eyes of the world, to let Americans run our own country, get Government out of our lives, to let America know we are behind our police force that risk their lives every day, that people in the inner cities are not forgotten, there's hope if you respect yourself, to maintain that Securing our borders, but keep them open to legal immigrants is not a bad thing but a responsible one.
