You didn't read, "suggested" that there might be are tapes, "Comey better hope there are no tapes...,' and at a later date wouldn't confirm if there were or weren't tapes, “I’ll tell you about that maybe sometime in the near future," the same refusal to answer that Spicer repeated twice to direct questions

No tape of a conversation between Homey and Trump can exonerate Trump of anything, because there are no legal accusations of anything at this point.

to offer for consideration

Meaning the President mentioned or implied as a consideration that tapes existed, he suggested tapes were real

You mean the President of the United States is now using his postion to purposely fool and misdirect American citizens? I don't think that is what the Founding Fathers had in mind when they went with a Presidential system of Govenment

Or, that he tweeted too early and got caught in yet another blunder to add to his collection?

Trump never suggested that tapes existed.....thats just left wing spin, commonly referred to as lies.

It happens with just about everything a Republican says that can be mis-characterized to mean something else.....
 
Its possible that the president will release tapes that may or may not exist as soon as next week.
