Socialist/globalist Western Europe liked Obama because they were kindred spirits. China had no respect for Obama and went as far as to make him [an American president!] walk across the tarmac from Air Force One. Netanyahu couldn't stand him. He got nowhere with Russian and Putin. The Red Line that wasn't really a Red Line damaged us. ISIS had free reign until Obama was finally forced to concede Islamic terrorism wasn't on the run. And the Middle East allies like Trump better than they did Obama.
On the whole, our world rep is better now than it's been, probably since before Bush II. Many would argue, it's much better.

Trump's approval rating sunk to just 36 percent in the latest Gallup daily tracking poll released Monday. That's nearly the lowest point for Trump in the Gallup survey. Trump previously hit 35 percent approval on March 28 shortly after the Republican Obamacare replacement, the American Health Care Act, failed before the House of Representatives could even take a vote.

ISIS is arguably Obama's biggest foreign policy faux pas. I remember this crap. The narrative was that Islamic terrorism was on the run. But having to bomb 'JV ISIS' ran counter to the narrative, so Obama passed on it.
Trump would have vaporized them and saved who knows how many lives in the process. Trump cares more about defeating these barbarians than he does narratives.
It's one of the reasons I voted for him.
