Why would Russia even need to collude?

Here is a question I would like to see our friends on the left tackle.

If Putin and Russia really wanted Trump to win and hated Hillary so much, why would they need to "collude" with Trump? What exactly could they expect Trump to do in order to impact the win? Trump couldn't alter the vote in anyway could he?

Why didn't good ole Vlad just do what he needed to do? Why would he need to involve the Trump campaign at all?


For this particular endeavor, I am suspending thread ban rules because I want to give libtards a chance to redeem themselves. Don't blow it. I am even going to throw caution to the wind and let Deshtard and Zipperhead participate. Let's see if they can step up and not disappoint me.

You have it backwards, Russia didn't need to collude with the Trump organization, rather, the Trump organization needed to collude with the Russians to get the Don elected.

Why would the Russians want the Don elected, obvious, from past experience, they knew Clinton would have been tougher on the Russians, never heard anyone in America talk about a softer side of Putin till the Don came along

Personally, I don't think there was an orchestrated collusion, rather a whole lot of improper, and as we will see down the road, perhaps illegal meetings between the two camps largely due to the ignorance of the Trump surrogates. In addition, all whole new can of worms into the Trumps' international/business relationships may be opened up with this Investigation that will go far beyond what role Russia played in the elections

Wrong, Putin hated Clinton, on all levels, felt she was personally responsible for protest movements against him in his own Nation, and, resented her efforts to strengthen Europe as a counterweight to Putin's global ambitions. The last thing he wanted was Clinton elected

Plus Trump could end up being less "friendly" To Russia than Hitlery.

Pretty much, certainly was abandoned quickly, all the Presidents in the last forty years have gone thru a similar process, and all quickly gave up on Russia

it's ridiculous. Putin had to annex Crimea due to our meddling in the Ukranian Euromaiden.
It was a direct threat to his access to Sevastopol.

Obama couldn't deal w/Putin.. he dismissed him as a "bay boy" slouching in the back row-
but Putin has his security needs like any other. We reject that -yet we still want his help on terrorism.
That is the "mono -polarism" view we try to foist on him,and he won't have it

So Obama's inability to deal w/Putin led to Putin's incursions in Libya/Egypt and Syria.
Then we turn around and blame Putin for filling a vacuum, or capitalizing on bad policy or our interventionism.

The Russian boogeyman is the Deep State's cue for hysteria,........and here we are.

Yeah, that must be why he wanted to lift sanctions and let the Russian delegation Obama threw out of the US for espionage to reoccupy their compound in Washington, get real, Syria ain't Russia, and all he bomb was airfields that were used again the next day

Syria is a long time Russian client state.

I guarantee you we'd be in a "no fly"situation In Syria under Hillary
and that is vulnerable to Russian air, since they have land bases there too.

we'd sooner or later wind up stuck In Syria,or even worse a shooting war.

A no fly zone in Syria, would mean USCoal. shooting down Russian planes in the air. So YEAH, that would lead to ww3.

We are "deconflicting"again with Russia in Syria ( notifications of airspace) -
but if we went in for a No Fly and Russia thought to bomb near it -or in it....why do this?

I actually contend that allow Russia to get into the ME, or now Libya, may be a bigger detriment than any gain in influence. What does a world power really have to gain getting bogged down in a quagmire? Let's let them get bogged down, while supporting their proxy enemy like they do to us. It worked well in Afghanistan.
