Never seen anything like it. The Democrats, seemingly invincible a few short months ago, have fallen apart at the seams. Leaderless, aimless, without a single idea or purpose. They've become a constant stream of hatred and rage and nothing else. Even their most popular spokesman, Uncle Bernie Sanders, has had enough of them and is starting a new political party.

Goodbye, Dems. We hardly knew ye.

What party is that? Haven't heard anything.

Speaking of starting a new party, I was thinking of doing the same.
If the libertarians couldn't get anything going after having the most qualified and best candidate in 2016, I'm certain they shot their wad.

The gist of the political philosophy of my party would be free market socialism. My healthcare plan, Moosecare, is basically the blueprint.

The probable result of a third party, or what might also be known as a minor party, is to take votes away from the major party with whom the minor party most closely identifies. Thus causing the opposition major party a clear path to victory.

The members themselves are disillusioned by their own Party. You think THEY don't know their own party cheated them? And even moreso now, when only the most lost are running the show? What do you think their recent antics have done for the neighborhood registration drives? They've come undone.

I don't talk politics with friends so I don't know if a rational dem exists anymore.
I do know my city now has a dim mayor from San Francisco and the city council is overwhelmingly liberal. It didn't used to be this way.
We used to be a moderate conservative city. An ordinance had been passed that made panhandling illegal.
Now the panhandlers are everywhere, even in the better parts of town. Homeless camps are all over the city. The ordinance still exists but not enforced at all.
Property taxes have skyrocketed with appraisals far above what is realistic. And they're using the money to build upscale apartments for chronic inebriates to live in for free. They're not even required to be sober. Needless to say all types of crime is way up.
They're really trying to turn this town into a Portland, OR. Glad I'll be done in two yrs.

San Francisco used to be the best city for fun in the US, behind New Orleans. Back in the 80s-90s. I've heard so much bad about them that I don't want to go back and spoil my good memories. My son lived in San Francisco for a couple of years and recently left. He said the smell was overwhelming.

Ah, New Orleans, where I grew up. Left in '91. Glad I got out alive. I had an uncle and two friends that didn't.
