Well, according to our laws, the first hadiths would have Muhammad as a pedophile and the latter counter point, note not hadith, he would still be guilty of statutory rape.

From what I've read on this, it is only fairly recent that Muslims are trying to change her age from the first hadiths due to modern culture. Why would their original hadiths have said someone so young? What purpose did they have to state that?

I go by the fact that literal interpretation of ancient holy books is horseshit. ILA makes the claim Muhammed is a pedophile in order to deligitimize the entire faith. But, you see, he has to rely on the LITERAL words, doesn't he? Well, let's take that same logic to any or all holy books. Want to do that? Want to go on about ANY religion by what their religious leaders teach?

Muhammad's "pedophilia" is a matter of historical record - not an issue with the text of the Koran. The historical record is not all that subjective. That being said, Muhammad lived during the Early Middle Ages of Europe (about 570 - 632). European kings/nobles were notorious for being arranged into what people would deem pedophile marriages.

Indeed. You bring up an interesting point about Christianity opposing Stalin/Moa etc. I hadn't thought of that.

Christianity supports the individual too. They believe in the collective.

They see Islam and Islamic terror as temporary allies to help bring down the corrupt and evil west. Replace it with their socialist utopian. If using terrorists is a means to their ends, so be it.

My understanding is that those marriages were not prepubescent. Therefore, not pedophilia.
