Comey is known for being an honest straight shooter. He testified that Dump had Sessions leave the room then tried to get him to drop the Flynn investigation. That might not rise to the technical definition of criminal obstruction, but we all know what Dump was trying to do.

Assuming your above quote of the exchange between Collins and Comey is truthful and correct, Comey is saying that HE DIDN'T TELL SESSIONS about Trump's request, you sleazy piece of filth. He's not saying Trump didn't make the request.
