We know Trump is criminally corrupt and rotten to the core (having spent his entire life running with mafia thugs and swindling people out of their money). Whether or not he was stupid enough to continue his standard business practices and ethics while in office is what the investigation will reveal. I am willing to bet he is that stupid.

He said as far as he knew, Trump isn't or wasn't being investigated by the FBI while Comey was in charge.
But he does not know what direction Mueller is taking, so it's anybody's guess.
