I only heard his parts attempting to force Comey to reconcile disparate treatment between Trump and Hillary. That was a huge fail. "Why isn't a worm treated like a frog? Uh, because they are different." And then McCain couldn't accept the answer, grumbled and quit. The second was more successful, the part about why Comey didn't follow up with Trump when Trump made some cryptic extortionate reference to a "thing." Comey fumbled that answer, I'm guessing because its embarrassing, if there is a "thing" at all.
So despite McCains elocution issues, he managed to bring up one interesting point that needs clarification.

I actually understood the logic behind his line of questioning.
