in downtown London, in a nation with less than 600 gun related deaths a year, or a shopping mall in the US where 30,000+ a year die from gun violence?

There's a reason the latest terrorist in London had to use a van and knifes, if it was the US in a similar attack they could have wiped out dozens if not hundreds with a beforehand trip to the local gun shop

If it's so easy then why don't they?

My question to you was about America. Don't play dumb...you are playing, right?

Why doesn't the US? Simple, we have too many individuals who believe all the gun manufacture' propaganda echoed by the gun manufactures' puppet organization the NRA that guns are necessary to keep one safe and are a Constitutional right

And it seems to work.

Ok then. Glad that's settled.

Safer in the U.S. Law abiding people can carry guns. Criminals here will always have their guns and I don't want to fight one of them with a sling shot, a knife or a bat.

Sure it works, that's why the US has 30,000+ gun related deaths a year, nearly a third in homicide, ranks along side third world nations in gun ownership, and provides easy access to just about anyone to nearly any weapon of their choice. Sure that is just what the Founding Fathers had in mind two hundred plus years ago

So you concur then that it is safer in downtown London today than in most shopping malls in America, and you appear happy with that opinion

Are we talking about suicide or terrorism? I don't have my glasses and the moving goalposts really fuck something awful with my eyesight.

Has the US not dealt with more mass casualty attacks in the recent future compared to England?

England had the bus thing in 2005, the bomb a few weeks ago and some London bridge shit go down a few times this year
but
We have Sandy Hook, Pulse Night Club, Colorado (x2), San Bernidino and a bunch more I cannot recall off the top of my head.

but! banning guns is not the solution!

"Safer in the US," not true, any dimwit who has a argument with his girlfriend or a beef with his boss has easy means to go out and shoot just about anyone he wants, the same scenario doesn't play out in most developed nations, if the London attackers were in the US the death totals could have reached the hundreds

You don't have to ban guns. the children can keep their toys, but making access to guns difficult would be a big step, when a person on a terror watch list can go in a buy a weapon of his choice it ain't right

Terror and murder, close to ten thousand Americans a year are killed by guns every year, if the terrorists in London had the access to guns that they do in the US the death total last week would have been in the hundreds. Hell, a pissed off former employee in Orlando this week killed nearly as many as in London

Wow, you'd think the terrorists would be doing that shit here.

England fucked up because even with all their security gadgets and tools, they still ignored the obvious signs this dude was a terrorist. The US agencies are major league and stop this shit all the time. The England agencies are tee ball level, they only have themselves to blame.

I believe my answer included 'criminals' which would also encompass 'dimwits'. You live where you feel safer and I'll live where I feel safer.

We have 30,000 shopping mall gun deaths every year?

Do you have a cite for that?

Also, while not per capita, per say, we do have approximately 250 million more people than England.
