That point really is not valid Domer. Gun deaths are small compared to other types of death here. Many other countries have actual genocide going on with guess what? Little to no guns. Just putting things into perspective.

The point got past you. We have gun violence - 30,000+ deaths per year - because of the high number of guns. Yeah, go ahead and try to compare us to Batswana. That doesn't wash. I'm referring to the industrialized world.

More people die than that by car accidents. Must be because we have a high number of vehicles on the road. For the first time this year Opiod overdoses have over taken gun deaths. Because there are more drugs on the streets. The point I am making is guns are not the problem. Neither are cars or drugs for that matter. It is the people that do not know how to use them responsibly.
