Yes, the thing is, I think steps should be taken to prevent both. I'm not upset that Trump is using the tragedy to promote a plan to curb further tragedy, I just don't agree with the specific plan.

I don't really like the idea of using any tragedy to promote an agenda. Unfortunately, it will always happen as the tragedies seem to the person(s) that it proves their point, when IMO, it often doesn't.
