USSC says 'government better than you serfs'

another case of someone not reading the issue. the cops entered illegally without announcing, therefore startling the resident making him fear for his life. up until this case, it used to be settled law that when cops are operating outside the law, they aren't cops, they are criminals. now, that is no longer the case. this opinion now makes it such that it doesn't matter if cops are acting outside the law or not, they are entitled to defend themselves by killing you if you make them fear for their lives.

You're kind of stupid aren't you. What BigDog was saying is you can't outshoot multiple cops. Take them to court instead.

and as I stated previously, this ruling wouldn't prohibit a charge of the rape, but it authorizes the cop defending himself if the victim fights back

Ridiculous ... no jury would accept "I'm a cop" as a self-defense plea in that situation. This is quite different than a cop unknowingly going to the wrong address because his orders are in disorder.

then you are obviously completely ignorant of how jurisprudence favors cops in this country. there have been NUMEROUS cases where cops have illegally entered a house and the courts would have immediately sided with the resident, until the resident resisted and the courts then determined that THAT crime of resistance negated any possibility of a rights violation.

just come out of your statist closet and admit that you need a police state to feel safe

You're actually right about that. What do you suggest be done about it?

that PEOPLE, that means you and I, come to the conclusion that police are not protectors of society. that they are in reality armed enforcement agents of the government that are not afforded any extra legal protections than we the people are. secondly, we must put in place citizen review boards that deal with ALL citizen complaints as well as all officer involved shootings, possibly ALL use of force incidents. It is imperative that we remind police that they serve the public and NOT the government. we need to remove any and all immunities that the courts have given cops over the last several decades. Lastly, to overcome those immunities that the court will provide, we the people MUST be more forgiving of citizens who actually use force against law enforcement, ready and willing to believe the citizen over the cop at all times, unless clear and convincing evidence can prove otherwise.

Citizen review boards? Like they had in the Spanish Republic? That worked out real well. Just admit what you want.

You must be very young since you think these issues are new and everyone is unaware of them (despite Black Lives Matter).

The cop that is ordered to go into the wrong house, does NOT know he is breaking the law. He's just following the orders of his superiors. Comprende?

there have been numerous citizen review boards in this country. the problem is that the city or state legislators cave to police union pressure and limit or negate the power of the review board. that needs to change. what is it you think I want?

I'm 50 years old. i've seen this shit longer than you are aware of.

Nuremberg. the whole following orders crap is just that.....crap. idiots in this country throw a fit about a low ranking marine who abuses a POW, despite the fact that he was following orders from above because nobody has the stomach to go after an establishment politician or agency.

So you think the Marine was innocent, yet believe a cop in the same situation is guilty? ...
correct?

Following an order to rape someone or torture someone is quite different than being mistakenly given an incorrect address by your superiors.

You want to be able shoot cops. You're not fooling anyone.

I didn't say that.

we did not create government and give them leeway to make mistakes or disregard the law. the courts created that immunity and the sheeple have approved of it. ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you're the government?????

You still don't understand. It's NOT ignorance of the law. It's not disregard of the law. The cop is doing his job; acting in good faith that the intel provided to him is accurate and truthful.
