FIVE Baltimore High Schools where ALL the students failed!!!

I'm no expert, but I don't fear offending anyone by talking about that subject. I do fear offending people by dignifying in any way a thesis regarding innate intelligence of the races. Im going to need a safe space for that. It's pretty ugly. I wont be a part of it besides saying it's pure racist tripe.

It's not a racial issue. It's their culture.

I'm still waiting for the conservatives in this thread to denounce the topic post and the poster. But that won't happen. Trump has provided a safe space for racists, as stated in his campaign strategy.
Actually it is not the kids fault. It is the fault of the democrat party and union run public schools. My heart breaks for these kids who are crippled for life now.

Please allow me to answer for our board liberals

1) it's Trumps fault
2) its bush's fault
3) its ILAs fault
4) we don't spend enough on education.

Did I miss anything

Now i am sure it will be convenient for you to hide behind the OPs racist screed so you can ignore the real issue which is the failure of the liberal establishment's public education system.

The public schools cost more than private schools and get worse outcomes. That is a fact.

Conservatives like to pick out examples and use them to make broad, sweeping generalizations about huge swaths of people. Meanwhile, Obama is a mental colossal compared to Trump.

I prefer to take generalizations about huge swaths of people and use them to pick out examples.

The national you.

To the point, I disagree somewhat. While black people are overrepresented proportionally in poverty in the USA (if that was your inference) there are plenty of non black people in poverty, abusing drugs, committing crimes antisocial behavior etc etc And of course the whites are the only category that was not burdened with a lack of rights. So, one might argue they are overperforming given that history.

Assuming arguendo it is so bad across the board now, how do you explain the historical success of the public education system? It was public then too, when it was presumably good. Is this your segue to an argument for segregation and overruling Brown v Board and civil rights act stuff?

Well...in 5 Baltimore schools not one student from any race can read well enough to pass the state standard requirement. Where do we place blame? Did the parents not know their children couldn't read?

its a shame demmycrats refuse to permit vouchers or schools of choice.......say, maybe we could blame demmycrats......

My opinion is that public schools took a turn for the worse based on two seminal events. One was Title IX the other was the infestation of unions. You see Unions represent teachers not students. Students get screwed. The dirty little secret is that the bulk of school districts dollars are now going to fund overly generous pension funds where people are retiring in their early 50s. Now this is where you insert your ad hom of "Yeah, I guess you think they should starve and die".

As far as your non sequitur around Brown v Board and Civil Rights? You are being silly. I am glad that the institutional racism and segregation forced on people by the democrat party was eliminated. That being said, I believe at the individual level people should be able to discriminate against others for any reason they want. I know that this statement will cause your head to explode and nothing else will get through. So get on with your "you are a racist rant"

Back in the old Socialist slavery days, most democrats refused to educate their Black slaves.

Some things never change.
:dunno:
