Off the grid

You live in a mansion on a hill. You're part of the royal court, not a commoner, not a gardener, not a maid, not even a laborer ... more like a paper shuffling bureaucrat.

Unwilling to give unless forced to by the gov't. Unwilling to make personal sacrifices, and abandon your jetset lifestyle to live like a commoner ... so you can give to the poor. Typical Hollywood type lib. You are a fraud.

I love and am the common man. I have the common touch. I'd love to debate this with you further but I need to pack for my trip to Sonoma and Napa for a week of wine tasting.

I think this thread has proven the Republican principle of each human disentangling herself from every other completely is impossible, and not natural to the species.

Translation: I finally panhandled enough change to get me a bottle of Mad Dog 20/20 at the ghetto liquor store I hang out in front of.

ILA that sounds awesome.

Right now I am a city kid but more and more I feel like my future is pointing to me buying lots of land in nowheresville and living off the grid
Please do that! Lol, but you better understand Taco Bell doesn't deliver.

I have always thought there was a hilarious incongruity concerning wingnuts typing how much they hate the government, on an internet invented by government scientists.

The fact of the matter is almost all wingnuts are completely and utterly dependent on the public commons. Streets, highways, public water and sewage systems, not to mention the wingnuts that partake of medicare, Medicaid, SS cisability, and public education. These facts are just compounded when one recognizes that it is generally red states that get more benefit back from the federal government than they pay in taxes. Only an infinitesimally small and mathematically insignificant portion of the population lives "off the grid".
It's damn hard, ILA thinks he is doing it, but he is fooling himself. He should talk to people who really live off the grid, it's a damn hard life.

Are you trying to compete with KKKhristiefan? Trying to goad me into calling you the dreaded C word?

You are confusing homesteading with having and off the grid property. I am not, nor have I ever claimed to be a full time homesteader. I have a property that is not connected to the grid. There is nothing magical about that. In fact one does not need to live in the sticks or the mountains to be off the grid.

Why are you liberals so intent in bathing in your ignorance?
