I'm solidly middle class and celebrated new years with several bottles of very good champagne. I'm sure it wasn't up to Trump standards, but it was still tasty. And what the Trumps were drinking or freezing into Popsicles never crossed my mind. That class envy will tear you up.

She supposedly works at the White House. She shouldn't be allowed to do any private business. Nobody knew she existed before. If her sales go up a fucking nickel, they must take that money and give it to the government.

Does she have an official job with gov? Sneaky sneaky Trumps! They're so tricky! All the PR and none of the pesky rules to follow. Who knew having no ethics could be so profitable?

Listen, I agree with respect to businesses that could pose risky conflicts of interest. For example real estate holdings could be manipulated by monetary policy. Defense holdings could be affected by policy. Stuff like that poses a danger. Ivanka selling cheap trinkets and giving website tips? Where's the danger?

Anyway, I just thought the criticism for giving holiday tips on a fun type website was pretty weak sauce. You can save the hate for things that really deserve it. It's not normal to hate over something this trivial (not talking about the holiday or our fallen soldiers) given the context of where it appears. For your own sake, take a moment and breathe the next time a Trumpian revelation is revealed. Count to ten repeating the phrase "I don't want to hate"
