Two things. First is I don't claim there's no racism among people on the right but there are liberals, and liberals on this board, that believe liberals aren't or can't be racist.

You don't address a thing this woman says. Your attitude is exactly what I describe above. You think liberals aren't racist so when artickes like this are written on even liberal sites like Buzzfeed you blow them off. Because at the core it's not racism per se that bothers many liberals it's the idea of how advantageous it can be used politically to garner power. Hence the dismissal when people of the politically liberal ilk do it
 
And for the sake of discussion Cypress let's leave politics aside. What's your take on what this woman is writing here? Now granted we're men so this article isn't addressed at us. Should this author be so focused on race? And I guess this probably be better directed towards rana and Christifan as to their opinions being white women. Is this authors complaint legitimate in your mind?

Precisely. Liberals really don't care about racism and in fact engage it quite often. They know they if they can simply throw the word out there, it will have some political effect.

It really is sad. As it does an injustice to actual racism.
 
Cypress, UC Davis is ranked #44. You and I are the only posters here who graduated from top 50 Universities. So I would love more discussions even if we disagree. But you never respond my man. You post once and leave the thread. We need to show the rest of these folks how it's done

Liberal women can't be racist because

A) they support affirmative action because blacks aren't able to overcome obstacles put in front of them by racists.
B) they don't use the N word in public
C) they voted for a half black guy for President
 
White women, especially the monied ones, are so dangerous because they are allowed to be so soft. Stroke by stroke, they construct a type of womanhood that viciously negates the fact their bodies still function as agents of white supremacy. They are so gentle with themselves that they simply cannot comprehend that they could be oppressed and yet still oppressive.
