Also, if you are referring to the Republican Party, or a member of the Republican Party, the "R" and the "P" should be capitalized(a member of the Republican Party is referred to as "a Republican", as in, "he is a Republican". No one really gives a rat's ass if you capitalize "demented asshole", though.
