Actually, it's what ignorance looks like.
S.A. has always made clear that covering the head is not expected of non-Muslim women visiting their country, businesses or governmental areas (in other words, non-religious areas). I'm quite sure had the ladies gone to visit a Mosque they would have covered their head out of respect.

Vatican though? Really? It's a completely religious experience, from meeting with the head of the Catholic Church to going into a chapel area as well. I'm not Catholic, but if I ever visited there I would certainly respect that particular environment.

I've been to the Vatican and didn't wear a head covering. And if you read the Vatican dress code posted in 17, you'll see it's not a requirement.

P.S. The women probably would not have been permitted to enter a mosque in SA.

As far as the "true God", that is a line I will not cross. It's not for me, you or anybody to decide who is the true God.

You have to chalk it up to the fact that Drumpf's fan boys are going to do anything, say anything to defend their messiah.

It is obvious to any sentient higher life form that American politicians go out of their way to favor the traditions of Christian religions over Islam. And I say that as somebody who thinks the muslim scarf is more becoming on women than that stupid ass black veil!

This country is really backward when it comes to other religions, IMO. People can't just have a learning experience, they have to politicize everything.

Personally, I'd do whatever the country/religion asked in matters of dress, just to immerse myself in the whole experience.

From what I understand, there is no communal worship in Saudi Mosques. They can enter though to worship with other women.
