Bill and Hillary Clinton sit on top of a boatload of money. Their influence on the Democratic Party has been greatly reduced .. but still exists to a lesser degree.

There is nothing you can do about Hillary Clinton but obsess about her.

I've made this case before, and I don't think it's really disputable: while Clinton and Trump are both dishonest individuals, Clinton's lying is much more "hand caught in the cookie jar" variety. She lies to cover herself.

Trump lies like he breathes. It's more just something he does. He is a pathological liar of the highest level - there really isn't a comparison to Clinton in that respect.

Except we've had 30-plus years of public life for both of them.

Trump was never any of the deplorables that you now pretend until he kicked the stuffing out of The Bloated One. Scandal and corruption has followed Hillary & Co. around since we've known her.

have you head the phrase " the cover up is worse then the crime?"

Clinton's first instinct is to cover up,and dissemble -look how she handled the Email scandal -
she constantly parsed.
She moved the goal posts, and made fun of the reporters ("you mean like wipe the server with a cloth?")

Trump blurts out stuff -I agree.
His language is sloppy, and he does damage to himself because he just blurts it out.
It's a bad habit of his. and it's cost him politically.

I'd still take sloppy language over intentional deviousness of purpose,, but that's just me

- most electoral votes since Reagan
- claimed that he saw thousands of Muslims celebrating 9/11
- claimed thousands were bused across state lines to vote
- murder rate highest in 45 years
- said FBI and NSA told Congress that Russia did not influence election
- led the birther movement

And it just goes on & on & on. There are endless lists on google. Like I said, he lies like he breathes.

Those are easily disproven -nothing "strategic"about them.

I for one have long tuned out his hyperbole in fave of his policies which i approve of for the most part.

in fact there are lies built right into those very claims, it's on record what Trump actually said but break the spin machine out boy we got a racist on our hands.

The difference is that your claims of trumps lying are followed by that they are grounds for impeachment, that all he does is wrapped in dishonesty. When all the while they are trivial x10.
