I know Mott left this board but I feel like he was for the e-verify. Rune claims it's only Republicans who are for illegals. I will acknowledge I am far from the smartest but how do liberals not want illegals yet not want e-verify?

You slay the opponent in front of you, then you move on to the next. You don't stop fighting a war because the next zombie may be bigger and uglier.

Trump is in front of me, we must fight against him, and if the result of that is Pence, then we fight him, then the next.
 
supposing these are all terrible ideas i dont see what difference is make whether Trump or Pence is the president. They would both push tem. Trump has already done any number of things on that list.
 
Also, if you impeach the head of the party, you damage the brand. That's good. And a replacement potus lacks legitimacy so he gets nothing done. Instant lame duck. It would be much different if Pence were elected. Gerry Ford was impotent. That's because the Republican Party was damaged and he lacked legitimacy of having been elected.

If you are looking for good ancillary reasons to not fear impeaching Trump, these are those.

I just feel fortunate that my children are blessed with intelligence. My niece with learning disabilities has a hard time with making change. You never know what challenges the person behind the counters deals with in their lives. I do not berated people for that reasons. It is sometimes no fault of their own.

I've always been fairly patient with people, and try to keep my share of burger-flipping jokes to a minimum. Just like two weeks ago, when a cashier at Total Wine added a weird $45 dollar fee to my bill. I could tell she didn't understand what was wrong, so, rather than get into a pointless argument, I drove home and called the store back to arrange for my card to be credited.
